I have worked at Sanford Bemidji Clinic for 8 years as a Registered Nurse and have been in the role of a Nursing Supervisor for the past four years. Currently I am working at Bemidji Walk In Clinic where I provide patient care along with administrative duties such as supervising staff, scheduling, risk management and clinical quality measures.

I am married to my husband Duane for 10 years who is employed by Bemidji State University and we have two children Isaiah (8) and Ethan (6). Our family hobbies include spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, camping, skiing and numerous sporting activities.

I work as a Social Policy Analyst in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. I conduct research, analysis, and planning for municipalities on issues related to poverty, housing, and child care. In my spare time I enjoy distance running, obsessing about baseball, baking bread, and trying to get my cat to lose weight. My wife Anna and I have been together for 8 years, which apparently entitles her to all the closet space.

I have worked at Hospice of the Red River Valley for over four years as a grief counselor. As a grief counselor I provide education, support and counseling to individuals and families who have experienced the death of a loved one. I also provide grief related presentations and support groups to the community and in schools.

When I am not working, I enjoy meeting new people through volunteering and travel and spending time outdoors canoeing, hiking, camping, and snowshoeing with family and friends. One unique thing about me is that I have hiked all of the state of Minnesota (more than 65). My family includes my parents, siblings, and very fun nieces and nephews.
